Consulting

I've been programming almost my whole life, since 2009. I've written Flash games, desktop games, Pascal programs, web products, my own products, other people's products, browser and desktop applications, websites, neural networks and wrappers over them, Telegram bots, a bunch of small utilities and scripts. I have automated and digitized projects in education, design, layout making, management, and harvesting machines assembly accounting.

My projects

My strengths are designing technical architecture, creating beautiful solutions, looking far ahead and using engineering ingenuity. I also have well-developed analytical thinking and communication qualities, which are now referred to as “soft skills”. I have taught programming, given lectures, run seminars and workshops.

Product Development

I can help with situations like these:

there is a product idea; it is not clear whether realization is possible and how labor-intensive it is;
there is a product idea; it is not clear how to technically implement it, what steps to split the process into and where to start;
there is a product; it is not clear how to add new functionality while maintaining flexibility and extensibility;
there is a product; the amount of technical debt and how to pay it off is not determined;
there is a product; you need specific functionality for which there are no go-to solutions, and you need an engineering view from a different perspective;
there is a product team; you need an external view at the processes and to be advised what buttons to push for fine-tuning;

Design Automation

The primary focus of my work for the past few years has been design and creative process automation. I've designed technologies for turning static media files into an endless interactive online stream, systems for automating layout process, composition, presentation and brand material assembling; systems for generating brand identity, and a graphical algorithm for tile laying at the cottage.

The consultation is great for:

For school and college students: career guidance, development, and paths

For young folks who have started or want to start a career in software development.

I started programming even before school, and by the time I finished it, I had already deployed several commercial projects. This experience allowed me to go straight to employment instead of going to college. That doesn't mean your path should be the same, but I have a number of various different stories and interesting experiences and I'm willing to share them.

The consultation will be best for:

high school and college students who want to start programming but don't know where to begin;
high school and college students who have already started programming and want to form a strategy of how to grow into competent programmers;
high school students who have already started programming and don't know what college to apply to after school and whether they actually should;
students who are not sure if they want to continue their current degree at college;
school and college students who are in a complicated situation, who are confused, scared, incomprehensible, or just lack motivation; I can't provide professional psychological help, but I can provide amateur psychological help (I'm a yesterday's school student myself and still relevant to your reality);
if you just want to chat and ask about stuff — welcome :-)

If you are a parent of such a student, you will not be able to book the consultation; the initiative must come from the person being consulted.

Conditions

The consultation is held online and lasts 70 minutes.

The cost is 8000 ₽ / 90 €. Career counseling for school and college students is almost or completely free of charge.

When feedback is available, I will charge a higher fee for a consultation.

To book the consultation, email me or contact me via Telegram and outline the item of your interest roughly. I am well aware of the limits of my competence, and also quite anxious, so I will take the responsibility of counseling only if I am confident in myself and my expertise on the topic.
